American Jewish Medical Association (AJMA)

About Us

The Mount Sinai chapter of the American Jewish Medical Association (AJMA) will be a supportive and empowering student run group that focuses on the intersection of medicine and Jewish values, to provide a community for Jewish medical students and their allies. AJMA focuses on sharing the Jewish perspective in medicine with the wider Jewish community, providing a safe space to Jewish healthcare workers, mentorship, and advocacy to call out and denounce antisemitism in healthcare. This student group will provide a direct link to a national, professionally focused network the AJMA, a 501c3 non-profit organization of Jewish healthcare workers, that empowers members to connect with other members to combat antisemitism and strengthen the Jewish community in healthcare.
