Sinai Book Club

About Us

At Sinai Book Club, we will select a book to read every month and meet for monthly discussions where students chat about their thoughts/ideas/feelings. At the end of each meeting, we will pick the next month’s book! Each book would grant an insight into different medical experiences from a human perspective, and can be a way for us to get in touch with the humanity of different illnesses while also creating a space to keep up with reading! Books can range from any topic (medicine, mental health, caretaker experience, cultural experiences) or genre (memoir, fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, prose)! Looking to be a fun space where students can keep up with reading and have discussions about people and stories.
