Project Sunshine

Mission:
The Icahn School of Medicine Project Sunshine Chapter holds recreational events for pediatric patients and their families during clinic visits. Volunteers are in the General Pediatrics clinic, Pediatric Cardiology clinic and Inborn Errors of Metabolism clinic. The mission of the larger non-profit organization, Project Sunshine, is to bring free programming – recreational, educational, and social service – to children facing medical challenges and their families.

Networking with social workers in various pediatric clinics at Mount Sinai, volunteer opportunities for students.

Tentative Volunteer Needs:
Recruiting as many volunteers as possible for clinic duties
