About Us

The Sinai NICU Cuddle Club is a program in which interested medical and graduate students are able to volunteer to hold, swaddle, and comfort infants in the NICU. Research on existing programs shows that programs like this one have the potential to improve the outcomes for premature infants or infants suffering from Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome and additionally that the activity of supporting babies itself offers a great wellness or mental health break for busy, overwhelmed students.|
