BA in Psychology, Special Concentration in Business Management, Columbia University in the City of New York

Master of Public Health, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai

Policy Experience & Interests: Charles has worked on a variety of health policy initiatives through the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the Office of Senator Charles E. Schumer, and through Columbia University. Specifically, he led policy projects addressing sexual violence and student support in university communities, hospital community service plans, paid family leave, housing reform, sodium and nutrition warnings, and smoking. Charles is interested in those who work in community-based organizations, particularly the nature of their collaboration and their own stresses and support systems. Additionally, he seeks creative ways to address the health issues faced by populations and to ensure nobody slips through the cracks of our healthcare systems.
