Jennifer Dai

Education: B.S. in Neuroscience and Economics, McGill University

Policy Experience & Interests: Jennifer’s knowledge of healthcare systems has primarily been accumulated through independent readings, economics conferences, and traveling to different countries. Having lived in Canada and the U.S. long-term and observed the healthcare system in China and Ecuador short-term, she has observed the tradeoffs between cost, access, and quality of care. Jennifer is interested in reducing costs, increasing access to care, and improving efficiency on a macro-scale through the lens of amending the Affordable Care Act. She also hopes to delve deeper into analyzing the U.S. and international healthcare systems by using her major in economics to understand complex models in the field of health policy and impacts of health disparities in order to reform U.S. healthcare legislation.
