Community Health Improvement Project (CHIP)

Mission:
The Community Health Improvement Project is an organization dedicated to providing health screenings and resources to East Harlem residents. We aim to improve health literacy and empower residents to establish care with a physician.

Education/Teaching in the community, Screenings

What can your group offer to other student organizations?
Blood pressure, vision, and other health screening training and volunteers

Tentative Volunteer Needs:
Bi-monthly blood pressure and vision screenings, with basic nutritional and healthy lifestyle education. 1-2 volunteers needed for each screening
