We recognize the challenges of family planning during medical training and aim to create a community built around advocacy and policy change with this priority in mind. We will have three pillars, centered around Medical Student Engagement, Research, and Advocacy. These committees will enable us to have a platform to discuss and learn about family planning options as medical trainees; to research and gain more insight as to issues surrounding fertility, access to maternity leave, and child care during training; and to advocate for policy change surrounding these critical issues.
