Through sessions led by professionals who work closely with affected communities, students will explore topics including drug policy, safer use strategies in non-clinical settings, and the experiences of healthcare providers with lived experience of substance use disorder (SUD).<\/p>\n<p>Using evidence-informed discussion and education, the group aims to equip future healthcare workers with the knowledge and skills to incorporate harm reduction approaches across a wide range of medical specialties.
