The MedDOCs after-school program consists of three modules held over the academic year, with each module lasting 7-8 weeks:
- Fall module: Cardiovascular system
- Winter module: Pulmonary system
- Spring module: Nervous system
MedDOCs also offers a summer program for MedDOCs alumni called MedDOCs+. Students are selected for MedDOCs+ through a separate, competitive, internal application process.
Students who have completed the MedDOCs program are invited to apply to volunteer at Mount Sinai Hospital in various departments.
The application for the 2023-2024 MedDOCs program is now CLOSED. Decisions were released via email on September 26. Check back in August 2024 for next year’s application!
Please note that MedDOCs has become a competitive program—we accept applications only at the start of the academic year in the fall. Any spots that become available for our pulmonology and neurology modules will be offered to those on the waitlist from cardiology.
