Through events, workshops, and peer-led initiatives, MS1G strives to:<\/p>\n<p>1.Build a visible and welcoming first-gen community at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.<\/p>\n<p>2.Address the academic, social, and emotional needs of first-gen students navigating the rigors of graduate and medical education.<\/p>\n<p>3.
