Research and evaluation serve to support continuous improvement and ensure that the curriculum continually adapts to the evolving well-being needs of students and trainees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#27498c\">PEERS Longitudinal Research Project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Beginning in 2018 and initially implemented amongst ISMMS medical students, PEERS developed an annual well-being research survey. Initial data gathered from ISMMS medical students highlighted that a majority of medical students felt that PEERS helped them realize they were not alone in their medical school experience and gave them space to reflect on stressful experiences. Presently, the research arm of PEERS continues to measure student and trainee well-being using measurements of burnout, well-being, and resilience.
