Welcome to the PhD Peer Mentorship Program page!

We are a group of PhDY2+ students who are here to help incoming PhD students in any way during their time in the PhD program, from Y1 and beyond. All incoming PhDY1 students are matched with two Peer Mentors and 2-3 other incoming students in a Mentorship Family.

We would love to talk to you and answer any questions you have about the school, program, lab, NYC life, etc. To aid in the transition to graduate school, current students have collaborated with administration to put together a 1st Year Mount Sinai PhD Survival Guide! This living document will be constantly updated throughout the year to ensure the most up-to-date and relevant information is available to students.
