Introduction

Doctors for America at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is dedicated to helping mobilize medical students to be leaders in putting patients over politics on the pressing issues of the day to improve the health of our patients, communities, and nation. We strive to build meaningful and collaborative relationships within the community and with its institutions and resources. We recognize the systemic injustices that perpetuate health disparities and, through our work, we aim to improve the health of the East Harlem residents.

Leadership

The student leaders for 2018-2019 are Shravani Pathak, Phillip Groden, Christian Cayon, and Stephen Russell. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to any of the leaders for information on how to get involved and for future events.
