PAST CAMPS:

Sunday, November 13th, 2022! This camp (in person!) was on the Lungs! We learned about the anatomy, function, and possibly problems with the lungs. We got to practice CPR, make models of the lung, and practice listening to each others lung sounds with stethoscopes. 

Sunday, June 26th, 2022 from 1-4pm! This camp was focused on… The Brain! We learned about some brain basics and then took a deeper dive into how we get a better understanding of people’s brains when we can’t see them directly! 

Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 11am-2pm! This camp was focused on Surgery skills and topics. We learned about how anesthesia works, played anatomy jeopardy and learned how to scrub in using real surgical gowns and materials. We also enjoyed having a Q+A panel with a General Surgery resident, Dr. Catherine Yip as well as a fun game of Kahoot! on what we learned.
