Here are some of the events we aim to conduct in the 2020-21 academic year:

– Virtual tutorials on Zoom (with recordings hosted on our website) covering topics related to data analysis and research.

– 1-2 hour bootcamps during InFocus week(s) covering the practical basics of Python, R, and SAS.

– Mentor-mentee pairings to match students experienced in data science/analysis with those seeking guidance.

– 24-hour hackathon, with prizes for best data analyses/visualizations.

– Guest ISMMS faculty who can speak to the importance of data science in their work.
