About Us

The Mount Sinai Chess Club serves as a recreational and intellectual hub for students of all skill levels to come together, decompress, and sharpen their strategic thinking. Our mission is to foster a supportive community that promotes mental well-being through the game of chess, providing a space for both casual play and structured skill development. By hosting regular tournaments, instructional workshops, and open-play sessions, we aim to build connections across different cohorts and departments, offering a vital creative and social outlet amidst the rigors of medical education.
