About Us

The ENT Patient Advocate Program aims to address barriers to head and neck cancer care by pairing medical student volunteers with patients as non-clinical advocates, providing logistical support and guidance during the post-operative period. The Program will be a structured volunteer program using trained medical student advocates to provide non-clinical patient navigation and companionship, improving patients’ ability to navigate follow-up care, reduce barriers, and enhance overall support during the post-surgical period.
