The MedPeds Interest Group is a student run organization founded in 2016, which is dedicated to fostering interest among future medical professionals about a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency program.

The combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics (MedPeds) Residency is a 4 year program, as opposed to 3 years for each of the two residencies individually. There are approximately 80 MedPeds Residency programs across the United States.
