About Us
Mount Sinai First Generation (MS1G) is an affinity group dedicated to students at Mount Sinai who identify as first-generation college students. Our hope is to create a community that supports one another through the rigors of medical school or graduate school while fostering connections with scientists, physicians, and other faculty who also identify as first-generation. Additionally, all members will be encouraged to participate in the first-generation scholars program so that we can give back to next generation of students trying to navigate higher education.
