Welcome

The One Health and Emerging Pathogens Interest Group is a student run organization dedicated to educating medical and graduate students about the many links between human, animal, and environmental health (One Health).

.

The One Health and Emerging Pathogens Interest Group serves as a community for students interested in learning more about or conducting research within the fields of One Health, emerging infectious disease and outbreak epidemiology, zoonotic disease ecology, microbiology, virology, immunology, and data science (to name a few). The group organizes an annual lecture series bringing interdisciplinary voices within the field of One Health to Sinai. We hope to visit the Central Park or Bronx Zoo to learn more about the animals there and about our comparative anatomies and diseases. We also work to provide more informal networking opportunities with One Health researchers and organizations throughout the year.
