Students for a National Health Program is the student arm of Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP). Through its more than 20,000 members and physician activists, PNHP advocates for a universal, comprehensive, single-payer national health system that would prioritize people over profits and guarantee healthcare as a human right.
The Mount Sinai SNaHP chapter hosts teach-ins, rallies, legislative lobby-visits and debates aimed at bringing the single-payer discussion to Sinai’s wider community and empowering students to become advocates.
