BUILDING CONFIDENCE IN RESEARCH

MSRO and ODI invite URM and First Gen students to a chat on Building Confidence in Research. We will talk about building your confidence as a researcher through topics such as understanding what research is, how to pick a mentor, how to work as part of a research team, and communication practices. The location is Hess 9-101. Food and beverages will be provided.

SEOM X LMSA X SNMA RESIDENCY PANEL  Tues., April 19th @ 4-5 pm

SEOM is hosting a joint event between SNMA and LMSA where we will be bringing Dr. Fidencio Saldaña MD, MPH, to speak to current students about what makes a strong residency application and important milestones to be aware of throughout each year of medical school. Dr. Saldaña is the dean for students at Harvard Medical School, has had a strong commitment to building diversity in medicine throughout his time at HMS, and is very involved with the internal medicine residency program at Harvard (although his advice is applicable regardless of your specialty of interest).
