SAMSA is a student-run organization founded in 2017, which is dedicated to fostering a sense of shared identity for South Asian students at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, spread cultural awareness to the larger institutional community, and address healthcare issues related to the South Asian subpopulation.
