Transplant Surgery Interest Group

About Us

The Transplant Surgery Interest Group is a student run group that aims to provide medical students with exposure to the field of transplant surgery early on in their medical school years. The TSIG coordinates with transplant surgeons to inform medical students of opportunities to scrub in to liver procurement surgeries. Medical students will be able to go on local or flyout procurements at hospitals in the North East with the team. Additionally, the TSIG aims to hold training events to allow students to learn and practice essential surgical skills.
