Introducing Tech Tips and Tricks

The EHHOP Tech Team loves helping you solve your IT problems, questions, and support needs. In fact, we love it so much we’re going to blog about some of our favorite life-hacks right here, because why not? Who couldn’t use a quick hint here and there?

N.B. This is not a place to turn to for how to handle technology in EHHOP specifically. For that, go to ehhapp.org‘s FAQ section. Also, if you have an urgent IT issue that pertains to patient care at EHHOP, get in touch with the Tech Team at ehhop.slack.com or email the Tech Chair.

Here’s one to start off with: Need to take screenshots to follow up on an Epic Support Request? Got a Mac? Don’t want to open up Preview every darn time? Try the keyboard shortcuts Cmd+Shift+3 or Cmd+Shift+4! See Apple’s Support article for a more detailed explanation.

Polished Web Presence

The Tech Team here at East Harlem Health Outreach Partnership (EHHOP) aims to polish the web presence for our organization so that both prospective and current students, faculty, and broader Mount Sinai community can quickly learn about who we are, what we do, and how to get in touch.

This post marks the beginning of an informal discovery process to help EHHOP understand whether and how the WebCommons interface can actually help the organization improve its recognition and relationships with members of the Mount Sinai Health System and the broader East Harlem community, which it serves.
