Education: B.A. in Global Environmental Change & Sustainability, Johns Hopkins University
Policy Experience & Interests: Christian is interested in the intersections between climate change, environmental degradation, and public health. As an undergraduate student, he worked closely with the Director of the Chesapeake Bay Chapter of Physicians for Social Responsibility (PSR) to research and present testimony for the Maryland General Assembly on bills related to renewable energy and public health. He again worked closely with PSR to analyze the public health implications of Maryland’s recently updated Greenhouse Gas Reduction Act. Moving forward, Christian wants to more closely research how our built environment and economic inequality contribute to human illness and suffering.
