Future Leaders in Science Education and Communication Program – Applications OPEN!

Are you interested in a career in science education or communication? Have you had trouble gaining training or hands on experience?

We are pleased to announce a call for applications for the Future Leaders in Science Education and Communication Program Fall 2017! This program is directed by Kathryn Bambino, PhD and Rosa Viñas-Castells, PhD, postdoctoral fellows at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The course is designed to develop and improve postdocs’ teaching and lay science communication skills by providing hands on teaching experience. Participants will receive a certificate of completion and an honorarium.
The deadline for applications is Friday October 6th!

Eligibility and Application

To be eligible you must be a current postdoctoral fellow at ISMMS and submit a statement of commitment to the duration of the program. The course will take place Thursdays from 5-7pm for 8 weeks from October 19th to December 14th (skipping November 23rd for Thanksgiving). Details are provided in the Application Form and FAQ including program dates, PI consent forms, and detailed application instructions.
