Terms of Service for Students

I agree that my utilization of WebCommons will adhere to the standards of the Code of Conduct for Students of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai to which I have already pledged to abide. I understand that all content posted on this website authored by me is the property and domain of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and that any content marked as inappropriate or offensive may be removed without my consent. Furthermore, I understand that this website is an extension of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and promise to refrain from posting content that may reflect poorly on the Mount Sinai Health System, the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, its students, staff, faculty, and affiliated hospitals and organizations.

I promise to refrain from posting materials that may be classified as offensive, specifically those that may be considered hate speech. Additionally, I agree to not post content about any Mount Sinai affiliate (student, staff, faculty) without their consent. I also affirm that all content will be HIPAA compliant.

In signing this agreement, I pledge to uphold the Mount Sinai brand and affirm that all content that I publish will be in accordance with the missions and publications of the Mount Sinai Brand Center. If I am unsure of my use of the Mount Sinai brand, I promise to confirm proper use with the Mount Sinai Brand Center prior to publication.

In addition, I understand that I will be responsible for the content posted on student organization websites for which I am an officer or authorized editor, in the same way that I am responsible for content on a personal page.

I understand that violations of this agreement may result in disciplinary action that may affect my standing as a student of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
